Cohort 2 – Leading at Scale
Creating space to think strategically, lead through complexity and build sustainable impact.
This cohort brings together experienced senior leaders who are navigating greater responsibility, complexity and organisational change.
It offers space to step back from operational demands, explore the bigger picture and strengthen your ability to lead through others while building the capacity and resilience of your organisation.
Workshops will be informed by the onboarding survey results, however examples of topics that will be focused on include:
Navigating complexity and leading through change.
Building leadership capacity and accountability across organisations.
Succession planning and developing future leaders.
Leading sustainably and managing competing demands.
Strengthening organisational sustainability and scaling social impact.
Collaboration, influence and working with wider systems.

Learning Together, Creating Wider Impact
Thriving Leaders is about more than individual leadership development.
The programme is also an opportunity to explore what leaders and organisations need to create lasting social impact in Ireland.
Building on the NCCSI Action Research, we'll use our workshops to identify common challenges, explore practical solutions and consider what needs to change within organisations and across the wider social innovation ecosystem.
In our final workshop, we'll use Mantra's DREAM framework to develop responses to some of the challenges identified.
The insights and recommendations emerging from both cohorts will contribute to NCCSI's wider work and help inform future approaches to leadership development, funding and investment.
Your experiences, perspectives and ideas are an important part of this process.
About the Thriving Leaders Programme & Partners
The NCCSI Thriving Leaders Programme is an initiative of the National Competence Centre for Social Innovation (NCCSI), delivered by Genio, Rethink Ireland and Mantra Strategy, in partnership with the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
The programme forms part of NCCSI's wider work to strengthen Ireland's social innovation ecosystem by supporting the people and organisations driving positive social change. Alongside developing individual leadership capability, the learning and insights generated will help inform future approaches to leadership development, funding and investment across the sector.
